| BTF is an independent
record company specialised in italian progressive-rock music.
A great bunch of historic albums from the original italian
progressive scene of the Seventies has been digitally remastered
and reissued on BTF's own label, VM 2000 Records. The updated
VM CD catalog lists now 90+ titles and can be searched thru
our "VM label" menu. VM 2000 Records was born from
the ashes of the historic Vinyl Magic record label and music
store, active in Milano during the early Nineties. A good
share of Vinyl Magic's CD catalog is still available and is
now distributed by BTF in mostly updated and reprinted editions. Recent italian prog reissues on our VM label have been released in gorgeous papersleeve foldout artwork, remastered CD editions with detailed booklets. All efforts have been made by our own VM label to reproduce vintage albums in heavy cardboard papersleeves that follow the original LP records. Another label produced by BTF is called Immaginifica and is directed by PFM's drummer Franz Di Cioccio. Immaginifica records are mainly dedicated to new interesting and emerging italian bands, talented groups whose music can hardly be defined as progressive only, ranging from new psychedelia to prog-fusion and post-rock. A great selection of historic itaprog albums has been reprinted and is distributed by BTF together with the help of following italian major labels: Warner (Fonit-Cgd- Wea), Bmg (Ricordi-Numero Uno), Edel (Cramps), Emi and Virgin, Universal (Polygram-Philips-Mercury-Polydor), Sony (Cbs-Rti-S4). BTF distributes moreover a huge assortment (1000+ titles) of italian prog CD by all italian indie labels. | La BTF srl è
un distributore indipendente specializzato in musica progressive-rock.
Una vasta scelta di albums storici della scena progressive
degli anni Settanta è stata rimesterizzata digitalmente
e ristampata per la nostra etichetta VM 2000 Records. Il catalogo
di CD dell'etichetta VM include a tutt'oggi più di
90 diversi titoli ed è disponibile cliccando sul menu
"VM label". L'etichetta VM 2000 Records nasce dalle
ceneri della storica Vinyl Magic, etichetta e negozio attivo
in Milano nei primi anni Novanta. Buona parte del catalogo
dei CD Vinyl Magic è tuttora disponibile ed è
distribuito dalla BTF in edizioni rinnovate graficamente e/o
rimasterizzate. Tutte le più recenti ristampe di progressive italiano sulla nostra etichetta VM sono state pubblicate in edizione papersleeve cartonata a doppia anta, con CD remasterizzati e booklets dettagliati. Tutti gli sforzi produttivi sono stati fatti nel riprodurre fedelmente gli album d'epoca su cartoncino papersleeve che rimanda ai dischi originali su LP. Un'altra etichetta prodotta e distribuita dalla BTF si chiama Immaginifica ed è diretta dal batterista della PFM Franz Di Cioccio. La Immaginifica Records è principalmente dedicata ala pubblicazione di nuove ed interessanti bands emergenti del panorama rock italiano, gruppi con talento la cui musica può difficilmente essere ristretta soltanto nell'ambito del progressive, ma spazia dalla psichedelia al prog-fusion ed al post-rock. Una grande selezione di albums storici di progresive italiano è stata rismpata ed è distribuita dalla BTF insieme alle seguenti etichette majors italiane: Warner (Fonit-Cgd- Wea), Bmg (Ricordi-Numero Uno), Edel (Cramps), Emi e Virgin, Universal (Polygram-Philips-Mercury-Polydor), Sony (Cbs-Rti-S4).
